We’re taking a break from our regularly scheduled Crime Bus touring in early 2006 to develop some new and very wild rides, but private tours can still be booked during this time.   1. We do include the Hodel theory on the Real Black Dahlia Crime Bus tour, but we don’t consider his suspect viable. It’s an interesting book for many reasons, though, and always elicits good conversations among the passengers.
  2. If you have extensive knowledge of the case, then perhaps you have read “Black Dahlia Avenger” by Steve Hodel ( a former LAPD detective )
    He found a very likely suspect, who not only escaped prosecution for the murder, but also it turns out an incest charge which he beat due to court tactics which would never fly in modern-day court.
